My name is Aaron Noel Wilson and I am a manager at Washington DC Metro Area Transit Authority. I graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. I currently serve as a deacon at Zion Church in Landover, MD.
I was introduced to New Beginnings Leadership Center through a friend who wanted me to attend a study that they were having. I was immediately drawn to the ministry as I listened to others proudly talk about discovering their life gifts. After getting involved with the Ministry, I was able to see how my faith has so much more room for growth. I learned how to minister at work and I learned that I can minister and create change within my own church’s leadership. NewB® Leadership Center equips men and women of faith to be greater assets to their place of employ ment, congregations, and communities. We are taught how to leave a Christ-like imprint in the marketplace, which is exactly what our culture desperately needs. And more importantly, I have been profoundly inspired to offer my life to GOD in a way that I hadn’t before.
One of the most appealing things that I’ve experienced is the genuine love and care that New Beginning’s leaders have shown me. They genuinely show interest in discipling me, they listen to and care about my perspective like few people have ever done before, they lovingly yet truthfully challenge me spiritually, and that means so much to me. And, I’ve learned to effectively disciple others. I am very grateful for the large impact that New Beginnings Leadership Center has had on me and those around me.
